Roll out the carpet

Workers from vendor Sprinturf roll out sections of the new artificial surface at Raider Stadium earlier this week. Seneca Valley becomes the second Butler County high school to use artificial turf for its football playing surface, joining Karns City. The Raiders open the 2005 season next Friday, playing host to Penn-Trafford. The entire WPIAL begins play that night.
