WEST SUNBURY — Moniteau School District will present the musical “Peter Pan” at 7:30 p.m. April 1 and at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. April 2 in the high school auditorium, 1810 West Sunbury Road.

General admission tickets are $8, and reserved seating tickets are $10. Family packs (including four general admission tickets, an $8 refreshment voucher, and $5 raffle voucher) are presale only.

A VIP meet-and-greet with Peter Pan and friends will be at noon April 2. The cost is $5 and includes a snack, autographs, activity and a digital picture. Children are encouraged to attend dressed as pirates, mermaids, fairies, or even Peter Pan or Captain Hook.

“Peter Pan” is the classic tale of a young boy who refuses to grow up. To find stories with which to entertain his young cohorts in Neverland — an island refuge for “Lost Boys” — Peter returns to the real world and meets Wendy, Michael and John Darling.

The Darling children return to Neverland with Peter where they learn to fly, get involved in all sorts of adventures, defeat the evil Captain Hook, and are changed forever.

Jeffrey Lang is the director. Darcie Bishop is the vocal director. Piano accompaniment is by Dorinda Aigner.

Jacqie Tedeski is the choreographer, while Dennis Malinski is the orchestra director.

Light/sound director is Amber Dillaman. Props manager is Diane Hunter, and stage crew director is Steve Morgan.

Costume designers are Naomi Wagner and Dawn Williams. Michael Beck is the technical consultant.

The agricultural and wood shop classes were in charge of set construction, the yearbook club produced the program, and the home economics class will make lobby refreshments.

Flying apparatus is being supplied by the company Flying by Foy.
