Power outage affects customers, traffic signals
About 1,400 customers in the central part of Butler County are without power.
West Penn Power spokesman Todd Meyers said the outage, which took place shortly before 11 a.m., is affecting about 1,100 customers in Butler Township, and the remainder of the affected customers are in Center Township. He said crews are on scene investigating the outage.
In Butler Township, traffic signals at several intersections are reported to be out. Police are on scene to direct traffic.
