Big Butler Fair breaks records
Bullriding was one of the main events at the Big Butler Fair Saturday.
The Big Butler Fair made up for its canceled event in 2020 with strong attendance this year.
Mike Roenigk, president of the fair's board of directors, said this year's attendance numbers broke records, and he estimated that more than 100,000 people bought admission throughout the event. That's without counting children under 6 years of age, who had free admission to the fair.
“It was great to be back,” Roenigk said. “We set new records this year.”
