EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard the following cases.
Lori Ann Waldhaus, 59, of Cranberry Township waived to court charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely first offense, criminal mischief causing damaged property, and DUI: highest rate of alcohol first offense. Charges were filed July 15 by Adams Township police.
Justina R Cidila, 30, of New Castle waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI: controlled substance Schedule 2 or 3 first offense, DUI: controlled substance impaired ability first offense, disregarding traffic lanes and following too closely. Charges were filed Sept. 12 by state police.
James C. Johnston, 28, of Monaca waived to court charges of aggravated assault, strangulation, criminal mischief damaging property, harassment and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed Sept. 15 by Evans City Seven Fields Regional police.
Jonathan M. Totin, 32, of Sharon was held for court on charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely first offense, DUI: controlled substance Schedule 2 or 3 first offense, DUI: controlled substance metabolite first offense, DUI: controlled substance combination of drugs and alcohol first offense, failure to keep right, reckless driving, careless driving, operating a vehicle without a license, vehicle registration suspended, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection. Charges were filed Sept. 16 by Lancaster Township police.
James S. Ostronic Jr., 60, of Cranberry Township pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. An indecent exposure charge was withdrawn. Charges were filed Aug. 15 by Adams Township police.
William A. Ferrari, 59, of Wheeling, W.Va., waived to court charges of corruption of minors and indecent exposure. Charges were filed Oct. 2 by state police.
Nicholas J. Donatelli, 26, of Harmony waived to court charges of DUI: general impairment of driving safely first offense, DUI: highest rate of alcohol first offense and careless driving. Charges were filed Sept. 23 by Jackson Township police.
Richard J. Ripper, 50, of Evans City pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. Charges of recklessly endangering another person, open lewdness, public drunkenness and obstructing highways were withdrawn. Charges were filed July 28 by Evans City-Seven Fields Regional police.
Antoine M. McCants, 32, of Ellwood City waived to court two counts of marijuana small amount for personal use, seven counts of possession of a controlled substance, DUI: controlled substance impaired ability first offense, DUI: controlled substance schedule 1 first offense, and DUI: controlled substance metabolite first offense. Charges were filed Aug. 8 by Zelienople police.
