Williamson

Douglas James "D.J." Williamson, 24, of Cranberry Township went to be with the Lord on Friday.

Born March 17, 1983, in Euclid, Ohio, he was the son of Douglas P. and Susan Fischer Williamson of Zelienople.

He was a 2001 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and was completing his degree in interdisciplinary studies at West Virginia University.

D.J. cherished spending time with his family and friends. His Boston Terrier, Zeke, had become like a son to him, which made everyone laugh as they adopted Zeke into their circle of friends.

D.J. had a personality that was like a magnet that drew people to him. He had a warm and welcoming smile and an infectious laugh that people wanted to be near.

His unique quality of devotion to detail and his desire to do a job well done made him appreciated by all those he worked for and with.

He was the precious son of Doug and Susan Williamson; cherished brother of Erin Wright and her husband, Michael, of Denver and Megan Palm and her husband, Michael, of Pittsburgh; treasured grandson of Kathryn Fischer of Malvern, Ohio; "Uncle D.J." to his first nephew, Lucas James Palm; beloved nephew and cousin, and a trusted friend to many.

We will miss him so dearly on this earth but take comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of our dear Savior, Jesus.
