Edward Charles "Ed" Spencer Sr., 84, of Renfrew, formerly of Shaler Township, died Tuesday.

Ed proudly served his country as a Marine in the Pacific theater during World War II.

He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Harris Spencer; loving father of Kathy (Vince) DeVos of Renfrew, Coleen (Russ) Terrill of Twinsburg, Ohio, Charlene Spencer of Renfrew and the late Ed Spencer Jr. He also is survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

<B>SPENCER </B>— Friends of Edward Charles "Ed" Spencer Sr., who died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel. Burial is private.Contributions may be made to the A.R.C.
