Gracia S. Fleeger, 71, of East Brady died at 3 p.m. Saturday at the ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

Born in Kittanning, Oct. 24, 1935, she was the daughter of James A and Beulah Davis Shearer.

She was the founding administrative director of the Sewage Enforcement Agency of Armstrong County and served from 1977 until her retirement in 2002.

Mrs. Fleeger also was a founding member of the Sugarcreek Ambulance Service.

She was a longtime school bus driver for the Shriver Bus Co.

Her husband, Richard J. Fleeger, whom she married Jan. 10, 1954, died Oct. 27, 2003.

Surviving are a daughter, Anne Dailey and her husband, Harve, of Kittanning; four sons, George Fleeger and his wife, Deb, of Kittanning, Richard Fleeger and his wife, Tammy, Jeremy Fleeger and his wife, Anna, and Robert Fleeger and his wife, Christy, all of Worthington; and nine grandchildren, Nathan and Colleen Dailey, Jennifer (Jordan) Porter, Christina, Richard, Ian and Hailey Fleeger and Amanda and Jessie Altman.

<B>FLEEGER </B>— Friends of Gracia S. Fleeger, who died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HONE</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. A private memorial service will be held by the family.
