Wahl

James L. Wahl, 51, of Butler, formerly of Zelienople, died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home.

Born March 2, 1956, in Ellwood City, he was the beloved son of Richard H. and Elsie Myers Wahl.

He loved animals and enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a former member of the Zelienople-Harmony Sportsmen's He also was an avid Steeler fan.

Mr. Wahl had worked for Mon River Towing and Campbell Transportation as a captain and pilot of a tow boat for river barges.

He is survived by his parents of Zelienople; a brother, Richard W. "Bill" Wahl and his wife, Carol, of Zelienople; and a sister, Rose Barkley and her husband, Loyd, of Fombell. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

<B>WAHL</B> — Friends of James L. Wahl, who died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Hill, senior pastor of the Zelienople Church of the Nazarene, and the Rev. Glenn Eagle, associate church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Evans City Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Zelienople Church of the Nazarene, P.O.
