John Salo, 88, of Middlesex Township died Saturday at St. John's Specialty Care Center, Mars.

He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy Shepard Salo, who died Nov. 5, 1985. He also was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.

He was the father of John Salo III of Ohio and David Salo of Ross Township. He is also survived by a brother, Ilmari Salo.
