Lawrence J. Steinmiller
Lawrence J. Steinmiller, 81, of Richland Township died Thursday afternoon at his residence.
Born in Pittsburgh, May 24, 1926, he was the son of John and Marie Wirth Steinmiller.
For more than 40 years, he was a milkman for Harmony Dairy in Pittsburgh and later for Turner Dairy in Penn Hills.
Mr. Steinmiller was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars.
Surviving are three daughters, Dianne Brooks, and her husband, Greg, of Middlesex Township, Kathi Tollerton, and her husband, Cliff, of Evans City and Laurie Compton, and her husband, Jerry, of Middlesex Township; two sons, Daniel Steinmiller, and his wife, Lisa, and David Steinmiller, and his wife, Denise, both of Penn Township; his grandchildren, Ashley, Amy, Jonathan, Becky, Julie, Danya, Maryann, Michelle, Melissa, Mathew, Jessie, Joey and Jamie; his great-grandchildren, Rachael, Alyssa, Zachary, Katie and Josh; and a sister, Ruth Lehberger, and her husband, Walter, of Troy Hill.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Theresa E. Jarowski Steinmiller, who died Jan. 31, 2006; and his brothers.

Steinmiller, who died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>McDonald-Aberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars. The Rev. Charles Bober will officiate.
