William Jennings Cromer, 43, of Butler died at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at his home.

Born Sept. 14, 1963, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Norman and Irene Knotts Cromer.

He was Navy veteran.

He enjoyed listening to music.

Surviving are two sons, Matthew and Jeffrey Cromer, both of Butler; and his fiancée, Shelly Jackson of Sharon.

He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Kathleen Bowser Cromer, who died July 4, 2004.
