Gary Charles Altman, 61, of Cabot died Sunday at his home.

Born Nov. 21, 1945, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Mont Clifford and Leona Harriet Bowser Altman, and he was raised by Oscar and Virginia Menken of Cabot.

He had worked at Pullman Standard and Trinity Industries and currently worked at Watson's Home Dressed Meat in Cabot.

Mr. Altman was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting, farming, camping and motorcycling.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Jean Harbison Altman, whom he married June 6, 1964; a son, Charles Gary Altman of Cabot; a daughter, Mrs. George "Fred" (Brenda Jean) Cypher of Cabot; two brothers, Weston Altman of New Castle and Robert Altman of Wampum; two sisters, Mrs. Eileen Ferrucci of Wampum and Mrs. Donald (Janet Geibel) Beggs of Butler; and his grandchildren, Troy Robert and Tressa LeeAnn Cypher and Derek Charles and Rachel Marie Altman.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mont Jr. and Richard Altman.

<B>ALTMAN</B> — Friends of Gary Charles Altman, who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at the Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.Memorial donations may be made to the Cabot United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O.
