Jack Hiwiller

Jack Hiwiller of Portersville died Tuesday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was the son of the late John and Louella Lorenz Hiwiller.

Mr. Hiwiller was a member of United Presbyterian Church in West Sunbury.

He was retired from ServiStar in East Butler and had been a member of the National Guard.

He enjoyed golf, woodworking and coaching the Moniteau midget football team.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Hiwiller, whom he married Sept. 21, 1963; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sherry Hiwiller of Cranberry Township and their dog, Saber; two brothers, Howard Hiwiller of California and Richard Hiwiller of Petrolia; a sister, Carol Ann Stevens of Harrisville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Hiwiller.

<B>HIWILLER </B>— Friends of Jack Hiwiller, who died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathleen Soltis, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Boyers, officiating.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
