Troutman

Sally A. Muffley Troutman, 75, of Buffalo Township died Wedn-esday in Alleg-heny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born on Dec. 9, 1931, in Salina, Bell Township, to Carl Clifford and Helen Mary Edder Muffley.

She lived in the Freeport area most of her life. She held numerous clerical positions with these companies, Carsons, King's Jewelers, and Altmeyers.

She was a member of the Summit United Presbyterian Church, Jefferson Township, and the former Edgewood Extension Women's Club.

Her hobbies included singing with the Melody Maids and Johnny Murphy, cooking, bowling, spending time with her family at their camp in Sheffield, and traveling, especially to their condo in Myrtle Beach.

She is survived by her husband, Warren L. "Sam" Troutman of 54 years, whom she married on Nov. 27, 1952; a son, Michael W. (Sandra J.) Troutman of Cabot; a daughter, Mary Kim Slimick at home; a granddaughter, Erica R. Peiffer; grandsons, Philip W. and Bradley M. Troutman; great-granddaughter, Emily King; her sister, Donna Strong of Tarentum, and her dog, Mika.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Rayburn Muffley.

<B>Troutman</B> — Friends and family of Sally A. Troutman, who died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the <B>DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME</B>, 324 Fourth St., Freeport. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday at Summit United Presbyterian Church, 181 Caldwell Drive, corner of Saxonburg Road and Caldwell Drive, Jefferson Township. Her pastor, the Rev. Jonathan K. Evans, and former pastor, the Rev. Paul Roberts, will be co-officiating ceremonies.
