Freshman quarterback Andrew DiDonato three for three touchdowns, caught a touchdown pass and rushed for another to help Grove City College (2-7) pull out a 40-33 victory over Case Western Reserve (4-5) on Senior Day Saturday.

Grove City totaled a season-high 386 yards on 81 plays and the defense forced four turnovers.

DiDonato completed 20 of 35 passes for 236 yards. During the game, he set new GCC single-season records for completions (141) and attempts (254).

Scott Fichter caught a career-high 10 passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns, and threw a scoring pass to DiDonato.

Matt Weil (Fombell) led the Wolverines with 80 yards rushing on 18 carries and sealed the win with a 22-yard touchdown run.
