Richard H. Smith, 71, of Rock Creek, Ohio, died Sunday morning at his home.

Born July 4, 1936, in Worthington, he was the son of James and Marie Grabrosky Smith.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, spending time outdoors and meditating near the Grand River.

Surviving are a son, Arnold Smith of Rock Creek, and a sister, Rose Marie Bifro of Willoughby, Ohio.

His wife, Shirley June Smith, died Dec. 15, 1998. Two brothers, James and Arnold Smith, also preceded him in death.

<B>SMITH </B>— Friends of Richard H. Smith, who died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Paine-Guerriero Funeral Hame</B>, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Butler County Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 380 Evans City Road, Butler. Burial will follow.
