Loyal G. Noblit

Loyal G. Noblit, 79, of Clay Township died Friday as a result of a fire at his home.

Born Aug. 10, 1928, in Ellwood City, he was the son of William J. and Helen V. McCandless Noblit.

He was a former member of the United Church of the Nazarene.

Mr. Noblit was a veteran of the Army, served during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 243 in West Sunbury.

He had been a welder at Pullman Standard and did woodworking.

Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Heller of Butler; a son, Gary G. Noblit of Lancaster, and four grandsons.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister and two brothers.

<B>NOBLIT</B> — Friends of Loyal G. Noblit, who died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the United Church of the Nazarene, Halston Road, West Sunbury. Services will follow at 7 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Todd Strong officiating. Burial will be at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, West Sunbury.
