Walter G. Krstonich
Walter G. Krstonich, 75, of Curtisville, West Deer Township, died Sunday at UPMC Shadyside.
He was born Feb. 5, 1932, in Curtisville, where he lived all of his life.
Mr. Krstonich enlisted in the Army in 1954 and was stationed in Germany during the Cold War. Upon returning, he married his wife of 53 years, Patricia M. (Huber) Krstonich, and began his landscaping business which he operated until this past year.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, splitting wood and being outdoors.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sharon M. Pearsall of West Deer; sons, Jeffrey J. Krstonich of Clinton Township, Bryan D Krstonich of West Deer and Mark J. Krstonich of Springdale; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose Steffan Krstonich; a brother, and a sister.
<B>KRSTONICH </B>— Friends of Walter G. Krstonich, who died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>SIWICKI YANICKO FUNERAL HOME</B>, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. W. James Legge officiating. Burial will be at the Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
