Edith L. Cavalero, 89, of Butler died Tuesday at Sunnyview Home.

Born in Italy, Oct. 17, 1918, she was the daughter of Nicola and Maria Marini Ramelli.

She was a homemaker, and during World War II, she worked at the Bantam Car Co.

Surviving are a son, James A. Cavalero of Butler; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Murin of Gainesville, Fla., and Janet Lee Cavalero of Butler; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Cavalero, who died in 1986, a grandson, and six brothers.

Cavalero, who died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
