Leonard L. Cooper, 85, of 200 Book Road, Slippery Rock, died at 5:10 p.m. Sunday at his home.

Born Feb. 1, 1922, in Worth Township, he was the son of David Porter Cooper and Lulu Grace Wimer.

He was a farmer and was a member of the Zion Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Marjorie M. Shaffer Cooper, whom he married Feb. 27, 1952; a son, David R. Cooper of Slippery Rock; and a brother, Wayne Cooper of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Walter Cooper and Barbara Elder.
