4th man accused in drug bust

State police have issued an arrest warrant for a Donegal Township man, who becomes the fourth to be charged in a drug bust last month.

Eric M. O'Donnell, 35, will face two felonies of possession with intent to sell and criminal conspiracy as well as four misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia.

On April 9, state police searched a home at 756 Game Reserve Road in Donegal Township, where they found a combined amount of about 11 bricks of fentanyl, 10 bricks of heroin and about $4,750 in cash throughout the house, according to charging documents.

Three of the four roommates were charged at once after the search, including Brent D. Kennard, 31; Robert E. Kennard, 41; and Shane W. Beachem, 45.

The fourth roommate, O'Donnell, was added as a co-defendant in the case Wednesday.

Police have also charged all four men with misdemeanor child endangerment because O'Donnell's 5-year-old son was in the home at the time of the search.

“During the search of the house, numerous used, uncapped syringes were located throughout the house in reach of the 5-year-old boy,” said the investigating officer in the affidavit.

Once arrested, O'Donnell will be arraigned and likely jailed on the charges. His three co-defendants have remained in Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail each.

A preliminary hearing will be set after arraignment.
