Lois Greer Latshaw

Lois Greer Latshaw, 93, formerly of Gibsonia, died Tuesday afternoon at the Majestic Oaks Nursing Center in Orange City, Fla. She had lived in Deltona, Fla., since 1975.

Born in Beaver Falls, Jan. 3, 1915, she was the daughter of Harry L. and Zulu Shillito Greer.

She had been a teacher for more than 38 years for the Mars School District and later taught for the Deltona Christian School in Deltona for 12 years.

Mrs. Latshaw was a member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church, where she was the organist for more than 35 years. She also was the organist at the Faith Baptist Church of Deltona.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Nadeen Greer of Oakland, Md.; a nephew, Harry L. Greer III, of Orlando, Fla.; and four nieces, Deb Durben of Oakland, Md., Lynn Snughart of Newville, Carol Jamison of Parker and Bonnie Greer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Glenn Latshaw, who died in 1976; and by a brother, Harry Greer Jr.

<B>LATSHAW</B> — Friends of Lois Greer Latshaw, who died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Weston, pastor of the Valencia Presbyterian Church, officiating.
