DEPICTING THE EASTER STORY
From left, Albert Hummel, Shirley Alderson, Mrs. Howard Drescher, Brenda Morris and Ralph Bastian rehearse at Knoch High School on March 30, 1972, for an Easter pageant titled "The Master Liveth" to be held at the school at 5 a.m. Easter morning. The 37th annual Easter Sunrise Service was written by Martha Bayly, and Clair Halstead directed the Community Choir. Drescher is representing Easter, and Hummel, Alderson, Morris and Bastian are some of the light bearers, which represented hope, faith, victory, peace, love, joy, light and life. Many churches and groups were set to hold Easter sunrise services this year.
