ROUND 'EM UP COWBOY
Ray Questiaux of Butler ropes a calf Aug. 17, 1976, during the opening night of competition at the 17th annual North Washington Rodeo. Despite a 10-second penalty for breaking the barrier, Questiaux roped and tied his calf with a time of 35.6 seconds. The 51st rodeo kicked off Monday evening with the Rodeo Parade. The event, which features professional competitions, food and more, continues through Saturday at the North Washington Rodeo Arena on Route 38. Admission at the gate is $14 for adults and $6 for children ages 4 to 12. Proceeds benefit the North Washington Fire Company.
