The hair. The pants. Yes, it was the Seventies. It was the first day of classes in 1977, to be exact, for students at Butler Junior High School. Here they wait to get on the bus for the ride home. The summer involved months of controversy regarding the Butler School District's new contracts with its bus carriers, but they were ready to roll when the school year started.
