WALK FOR THE CAUSE
Members of the American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout campaign march in the Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11, 1987, in downtown Butler. This year marks the 35th Great American Smokeout, which is a program encouraging smokers to use Nov. 18 as the date to make a plan to quit. Thursday's Veterans Day parade in the city, under warm, sunny skies, drew a crowd in the thousands.
