'AMERICAN IDOL' 1971 STYLE
The band, The Night Wind, playing above, was one of those competing in March 1971 for a $200 Jaycee’s contest prize. Other bands in the competition included The Westsiders, The Blues Atmosphere, and Jeremiah. The finals were to be held at the Butler YMCA with disc jockey Guy A. Travaglio Jr. playing records between sets.
