Leona Catherine Davis, 80, of East Butler died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at Sugar Creek Rest.

Born Jan. 29, 1928, in Herman, she was the daughter of Henry and Dorothy Miller Geibel.

She attended the East Butler Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the East Butler Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary 117. She enjoyed playing bingo.

Mrs. Davis retired from Castle Rubber as an inspector after 36 years.

Surviving are a brother, Donald Geibel of Sarver; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Davis, who died Sept. 15, 1990; three sisters, Joan Alwine, Dorothy Thoma and Margaret Webber; and five brothers, James, Regis, Henry, Alaysius and Francis Geibel.

<B>DAVIS</B> — Friends of Leona Catherine Davis, who died Thursday, April 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Saturday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W.
