Kriebel

Carl "Cud" Kriebel, 78, of Evans City died Friday evening at his home after an illness.

Born March 8, 1930, in Piney Township, Clarion County, he was the son of Francis and Violet Larimer Kriebel.

Mr. Kriebel worked several years as a mechanic at Baierl Chevrolet until his retirement.

Besides being a loving family man who enjoyed spending time with his family, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, woodworking and puzzles.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Wagner Kriebel, whom he married June 1, 1949; five children, Carl "Mutt" Kriebel Jr. and his wife, Ruth, and Cheri Conrath and her companion, Butch Lawther, all of Mars, John Kriebel and his wife, Kathy and Pamela Gibson and her husband, Gary, all of Evans City, and Linda Skander and her husband, Rick, of Renfrew; a brother, Quay Kriebel and his wife, Pat, of Butler; a sister, Margaret Mauthe of Strattenville; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. All will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jay, and a brother, William Kriebel.
