Leland A. Johnson
Leland A. Johnson, 87, of Cabot died Tuesday at Fair Winds Manor.
Born April 9, 1921, in Nebraska, he was the son of Arthur and Clara Johnson.
He graduated from the University of Minnesota and was an electrical engineer at Westinghouse for 30 years.
Mr. Johnson served in the Pacific with the Army during World War II.
He was very active in church organizations and was a member of various ham radio clubs.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen Rice Johnson, who he married in 1949; two daughters, Cheryl (Barry) Peters of Raleigh, N.C., and Linda Johnson of Cabot; a sister, Betty Hansen of Minneapolis, Minn.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A sister, Evelyn Johnson, preceded him in death.
<B>JOHNSON</B> — Friends of Leland A. Johnson, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Brewer officiating.
