Joanne Blose, 76, of Connoquenessing died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 8, 1931, in Allison Park, she was the daughter of Clarence and Mary Louise Walters Yaunt.

Joanne enjoyed homemaking, especially cooking, baking, and gardening with her grandchildren. She loved feeding her birds.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert J. Blose; a son, Timothy Blose and his wife, Carrie, of Butler; two grandchildren, Matthew and Rachael Blose; a brother, John Yaunt and his wife, Barbara, of Hampton Township; two nieces; a great-niece; and several great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert John Blose.
