PROVIDERS FLOAT WINS
A $25 prize for best appearance was presented to the Providers, sponsors of this float in Butler's Spirit of Christmas parade on Nov. 26, 1982. Receiving a trophy and $100 prize for best overall float was St. Michael's Brownie Troop 417. Other features of the parade included the arrival of Santa Claus, and appearances by the Steelers' Terrible Towel and clowns from Butler Shrine Caravan and Penn Glade Lions Club.
