Police reports as of Aug. 27

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

Aug. 13 — Caitlyn Marie Demko, 22, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following an Aug. 13 incident. Police said Demko was throwing food at cars.

Aug. 14 — Michael Mason Morton, 61, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor false reports following an Aug. 13 incident. Police said Morton reported a crash that didn’t happen.

Aug. 15 — James Erwin Fleeger, 42, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of disorderly conduct, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 15 incident. Police said Fleeger had a small amount of crack cocaine and a glass smoking pipe and ignored commands from police.

Aug. 16 — Robert Lee Evans, 61, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of disorderly conduct, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 15 incident. Police said Evans had a small amount of crack cocaine and a glass smoking pipe and ignored commands from police.

Aug. 18 — Ryan N. Banner, 40, of Chicora, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 17 incident. Police said Banner had a blue stamp bag, a hypodermic needle with red liquid and a smoking device.

Aug. 19 — Christopher Lance Ray, 53, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 15 incident. Police said Ray had a glass smoking pipe.

Aug. 19 — Serenity Ann Hindman, 21, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief following a July 20 crash. Police said Hindman crashed an e-bike into a vehicle, causing $2,410.45 in damage.

Butler Twp

Aug. 17 — Brian Edward Ayersman, 39, of Ellwood City, was charged with two felony counts of retail theft following an Aug. 2 incident. Police said Ayersman attempted to steal 22 items valued at $3,770 from The Home Depot.

Aug. 17 — Sherry Lynn Sell, 56, of Butler Township, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an Aug. 7 incident. Police said Sell threw a phone that struck a 16-year-old boy in the face.

Aug. 19 — Michael John Buzas, 64, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 19 incident. Police said Buzas had suspected crack cocaine and a glass smoking pipe.

State police, Butler

Aug. 17 — Savannah Marie Knopsnider, 26, was charged with felony contraband possession and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 15 incident that began in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Knopsnider was in possession of two cut straws and multiple stamp bags of suspected fentanyl and attempted to take them into the Butler County Prison.

Aug. 17 — Scottie Allen Ginley, 59, of Pittsburgh, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 6 traffic stop in Butler Township. Police said Ginley had suspected crack, miscellaneous pills and a digital scale and showed signs of impairment.

Aug. 18 — Wei Bo Chen, 25, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor fleeing police following a June 30 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Chen did not pull over for police.

Aug. 18 — Sara Nicole McGregor, 27, of Connoquenessing Township, was charged with misdemeanor controlled substance possession following a July 11 traffic stop in Butler. Police said McGregor had controlled mushrooms.

Aug. 18 — Ryan Nathan Banner, 40, of Chicora, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 11 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Banner had crack and a smoking pipe.

Aug. 19 — Jennifer L. Kwiatek, 51, of Evans City, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 9 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Kwiatek had crack cocaine, miscellaneous pills and a metal smoking device.

Aug. 19 — Norbert T. Moss, 48, of Butler, was charged with felony DUI and one misdemeanor count each of DUI, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 2 incident. Police said Moss tested positive for THC and had THC wax, a THC vape and a smoking pipe.

Aug. 19 — Tyler Cory Marcoz, 26, of Butler Township, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a July 23 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Marcoz had a glass smoking pipe, tested positive for cocaine and had a blood alcohol content of 0.101%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
