Barger

Norma Jean Barger, 72, formerly of Seward Street in Parker, died Tuesday at Bear Creek Personal Care in Parker after a period of failing health.

She was born in Petrolia, Nov. 30, 1935, and was a daughter of Earl Robert and Esther Barbara Blystone Snow.

She attended Fairview Township Karns City High School and was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Daniel Barger and his wife, Marta, of Chicora and Charles Raymond Barger and his wife, JoLynn, of Knox; two daughters, Patricia Louise Pilzak of Pittsburgh and Vicky Lynn McCord and her husband, James, of Parker; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, James Snow and his wife, Ruth, of Karns City and Frank Snow and his wife, Helen, of Petrolia; a sister, Grace Dunlap of East Brady; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Snow, and her companion of many years, Max M. Murray, who died Dec. 17, 2002.

<B>BARGER </B>— Friends of Norma Jean Barger, who died Tuesday, June 2, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, Petrolia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Spiker, hospice chaplain of Medical Services of America, officiating. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.
