Alma E. Bachman

Alma E. Bachman, 93, of Cabot died Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Dec. 2, 1914, in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Emma E. Montag Bachman.

She had been a school nurse for the South Butler County School District and retired in 1977 after 25 years. She served as a captain in the Army Nurse Corps in Europe during World War II.

She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot and the Pennsylvania Association of Retired School Employees.

Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

<B>BACHMAN </B>— Friends of Alma E. Bachman, who died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg, where services will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Luke Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke Lutheran Church or Concordia Lutheran Ministries.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
