Russell J. Weber, 87, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Morningside, Garfield and Ben Avon, died Thursday.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Barnes Weber; two sons, Russell P. Weber and his wife, Lauren, of Cranberry Township, and Duane Weber and his wife, Sue, of Waterford; two grandchildren, Jared and Nathan; and one sister, Hildegarde Weber.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredolin and Hildegarde Weber; and one brother, Fredolin J. Weber.

He was retired from American Bridge.

He was a World War II veteran in the 7th Armored Division,

Russell was a past commander and a life member of VFW Post 3945, a life member of Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge, a member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Cranberry Elks.

<B>WEBER</B> — Friends of Russell J. Weber, who died Thursday, June 12, 2008, will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at <B>DEVLINFUNERALHOME OF CRANBERRY</B>, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A blessing service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
