Reed

Mary B. Reed, 78, of Butler died Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

Born Oct. 6, 1929, in North Braddock, she was the daughter of John and Mae Gallagher McGuire.

She was a homemaker, and she was a former cafeteria monitor at the Summit Township School.

She was a member of Saint John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, where she was a former Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by a son, James H. Reed Jr. and his wife, Debra, of Dover; a daughter, Sheila Donelson and her husband, Brian, of Fenelton; a brother, William McGuire of Turtle Creek; a sister, Mrs. Albert (Nan) Smith of Monroeville; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Reed Sr., who died April 3, 2003; three brothers; and a grandchild.

Reed, who died Sunday, June 15, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Saint John Church, Coylesville, with the Rev.
