Allison Schubert

Allison Schubert, a graduate of Butler Area Senior High School, was recently hired as a communications assistant for the Detroit Tigers.

As a communications assistant, Schubert is in charge of coordinating media and news outlets that want to cover the team, compiling clips and headlines of the baseball team for distribution, and keeping members of the media and news outlets in the loop for interviews and stories.

She earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast reporting at Point Park University.

“I am in charge of credentialing all of the media that want to come cover the Tigers,” Schubert said, “ensuring all media have everything they need to make their jobs as easy as possible and acting as a liaison between the media and the players to organize interviews and keep communication open.”
