In loving memory of our beloved husband, John Bresnehan, who passed away one year ago today.

No longer may I touch your face

Or hear you call my name;

Since the Lord has called you HOME "nothing," is the same...

Though I have said "farewell" to you

It's hard to let you go;

The pain within from MISSING you

God, could only know...

For "life" it seems will be "too long"

If we must be apart...

That of you which shall remain

Now dwells inside my heart...

For precious thoughts are all I have

Of days I spent with you;

Yet I trust to draw from them strength to see me through...

For when someone you love

becomes a MEMORY;

The memory becomes a TREASURE...

One you hold eternally, and CHERISH it FOREVER!
