Leokadia Rotolo
Leokadia "Lottie" Rotolo, 94, of Jefferson Township, formerly of Freeport, died at 10:09 a.m. Sunday while in the company of family members at Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, Jefferson Township.
Mrs. Rotolo was born in Freeport on May 28, 1914, the daughter of John and Antonina Koprowski Uleski.
She had attended the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Freeport.
Lottie enjoyed gardening, working around her house and being with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond J. Bowser and Richard R. "Pete" Boswer, husband of Joyce, both of Buffalo Township; and a daughter, JoAnn, wife of Charles Wagner Sr., of Winfield Township. She also is survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of Tony Rotolo, who died in 1977. She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Lou Grossman, who died in 1994; a grandson; a great-grandson; four brothers, Joseph, Ted, Stephen and Stanley; and three sisters, Josephine Powell, Stephany Dudek and Catherine Clark.
<B>ROTOLO </B>— Friends of Leokadia "Lottie" Rotolo, who died Sunday, June 22, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Redmond Funeral Home</B>,<B> </B>524 High St., Freeport. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Hartman officiating.
