Bernadine M. Bandura, 82, formerly of Newhaven Court in Center Township, died Monday morning at the Chicora Medical Center of natural causes.

Born March 11, 1926, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of David A. and Bernadine Wittmer Bruner.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where she had been in the Ladies Guild and the Christian Mothers.

She was a homemaker and mother, enjoyed playing cards and was a volunteer at the St. Paul School.

Surviving are three sons, Joseph B. Bandura of Butler, Barry A. Bandura of Wexford and Randall P. Bandura of Frostburg, Md.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. William (Ann) Gallagher of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Joseph Bandura, whom she married Oct. 15, 1945, died June 23, 2000. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Bruner.

<B>BANDURA</B> — Friends of Bernadine M. Bandura, who died Monday, June 23, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Steven Neff, parochial vicar of the St. Paul Church, will officiate.
