Max Dumbaugh
Max Dumbaugh, 91, of Pinellas Park, Fla., formerly of Butler, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
He was born Dec. 27, 1916. He was a World War II veteran who served in North Africa, Italy and France. He received two Purple Hearts and a bronze star. He retired from Armco Steel with 32 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary, in 1987 and by his second wife, Margaret, in 1994. He is survived by his son, Mark Dumbaugh, of Butler; his daughter, Cheryl Gschnell and her husband, John, of Canal Fulton, Ohio; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
