A. Ray Book

A. Ray Book, 72, of Valencia died Friday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 2, 1936, in Slippery Rock Township, he was a son of the late Clyde M. and Helen M. (Dick) Book.

He was a graduate of Butler High School. He worked at Park Products in Valencia for 33 years, and then worked for the Armco Steel Plant in Butler for 10 years until his retirement in 1998.

Ray was a member of the Valencia United Presbyterian Church, the Forest County Snowmobile Club, and had enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and mostly his classic car.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn (Fizer) Book, who he married July 16, 1961; a brother, Jacque L. Book, and his wife, Carol, of Butler; two sisters, Virginia Glasser of New Castle and Lois Ellis of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

<B>Book</B> — There will be no visitation for A. Ray Book, who died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008. Private services will be held for his family. Cremation services are provided by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>.Memorial donations may be made to the American Respiratory Alliance of Western Pennsylvania, Cranberry Professional Park, 201 Smith Drive, Suite E, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.
