The Mars volleyball team beat Brownsville 3-0 in the WPIAL playoffs Tuesday by scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-14.
Abby Matusik had eight kills, three aces and four blocks, Brooke Finney had seven kills and eight blocks, Jaden Zimmer recorded eight kills and four blocks, and Lara Caraway had 12 digs.
Mars plays Thomas Jefferson at 6 p.m. today at Freeport.
