SENECA STARTS
Students begin arriving as the new $3.8 million Seneca Valley Senior High School, combining the former Zelienople and Evans City high schools, opens its doors in September 1964. The first day reportedly went smoothly, with the exception of a few bus schedule mix-ups. The original senior high later became the intermediate high school.
