We miss you

Grandpa Grandpa so far away

We all miss you and wonder why you are in heaven today.

But we shall all know that it is your time to fly

And if we could have one wish it would be to say goodbye.

As you watch over us and listen to our prayers

You even help us fight off our fears, so we won't be scared.

We all know you're in a better place where you shall not suffer any pains

But with you gone it just doesn't feel the same

And deep down inside our hearts we have memories of you,

And of the good times we had together,

We wouldn't even trade for a golden feather

And what you used to say will last forever.
