Eileen D. Worth
Eileen D. Worth, 88, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., died Thursday at the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce, Fla. She was formerly of Butler and Dallas, Texas.
Born July 30, 1920, in Butler, she was a daughter of Herman W. Rodgers Sr. and Irene Mooney Rodgers.
Eileen spent many years in Dallas. She retired as a credit manager for the Inwood National Bank in Dallas in 1981. She also formerly worked as a bookkeeper for Parisian-Payton, a Texas-based ladies' ready-to-wear clothing chain. While living in Texas, she was a member of the National Credit Women of Dallas.
She was a former member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and a member of St. Lucie Roman Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Her husband, Robert C. Worth, whom she married July 31, 1952, preceded her in death Sept. 7, 1994. She also was preceded by two brothers.
She is survived by a brother, Gene P. Rodgers of Butler, and several nieces and nephews.
<B>WORTH </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Eileen D. Worth, who died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Entombment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. St. Paul's Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday at the church to recite the rosary.
