Giesler

Frieda K. Giesler, 93, of Sarver died Monday at Fair Winds Manor.

Born July 11, 1915, in Marwood, she was the daughter of Adam J. and Mary (Doerr) Lang.

She was a homemaker and had worked in the cafeteria at Knoch High School.

She was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.

She enjoyed cooking and baking.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne (Honey) Giesler of Sarver and Francis "Chug" (Lorraine) Gielser of Weedville, Pa.; two daughters, Glenda Giesler of Sarver and Karen (Tom) Eurich of Cabot; her half-sister, Betty (Andy) Daniels of Cabot; 12 grandchildren; and 16 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Albert "Singer" Giesler, who died Aug. 28, 1986; a son, Daryl; a great-granddaughter, Megan Dietz; three brothers; and three sisters.

<B>GIESLER</B> — Friends of Frieda K. Giesler, who died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
