Joseph C. Martini
Joseph C. Martini, 84, of Evans City died Friday.
Born Sept. 23, 1924, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Cesidio and Giovanni (Conti) Martini.
Mr. Martini was a World War II Navy veteran, who retired as a full commander from Naval Intelligence.
He was a member of the St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, where he belonged to a Bible study group. He also was a member of the Zelienople American Legion Post 474.
Mr. Martini was a gentleman farmer who retired from Gulf Oil/Chevron, where he had several patents in his name.
He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Chuff) Martini; father of Paul J. Martini (Jacqueline) and Carole Ann Martini-Jordan (David), all of Evans City; brother of Kathryn Winkle of Monroeville and Victoria Tosadori of Maryland; and grandfather of Matthew Martini.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
